Photo Party, Providence, Rhode Island (1990-1991)

Doug Vogel (colleague and friend of Tom R. Chambers) shared his photographs that he made at Chambers' party for artist/photographer friends in Providence, Rhode Island back in 1990/1991. The event was held at his living/studio quarters in the Federal Hill area of the city. One photographer who stands out is the gentleman in the blue/purple floral shirt, Bart Parker. He was a photography professor at the University of Rhode Island and internationally known for his photographs and teaching. He passed away about eight years ago:

Chambers is seen in the brown shirt. Other photographers there that evening were Tom Morrissey, Berge Zobian, and Al Weems.
You'll notice the Polaroid cameras in some of the photos. Chambers set up four of these cameras with remote controls for simultaneous exposures from different camera angles/perspectives to simulate a bit of a "Cubist" approach in the portraits/creations.
Other friends there that evening were Doug Vogel (He made these photographs.), Diana Vogel, Mike Whitney, Nina Zanneri, others.
